The Skogger utilises a simple and efficient hydrostatic-mechanical drive train with good ground clearance and a low centre of gravity. The 4wd Skogger is equipped with a comfortable and ergonomic rubber mounted air-conditioned operator cab with excellent all-around visibility and a 180 degree swivelling operator seat.
The versatile Skogger has been developed with primarily an extraction application in mind. However the boom and grapple configuration lends itself to accumulation of timber in field for extraction as well as sorting, stacking and loading timber. There is an option to install a felling kit which utilises the Matriarch MT50FH in-house developed felling head where tree size, terrain or underfoot conditions necessitate a heavier 4wd carrier.
